Little Taiwan – Little Design – Can Taiwanese designers really solve problems of our time?
Hugh Hu is a true pioneer with an impecable sense of timing. His ambition and creativity meant this Taiwan native wasn't satisfied with completing a degree in Industrial Design at the Cheng Kung University of Taiwan.
He set off to Europe to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, arriving just a few short years after the fall of the Berlin wall. Having absorbed the history, culture and knowledge of this great city he returned to Taiwan with a new 'Diplom Designer' certificate.
With this unique position he was able to play a pivotal role in Taiwan's economic development as the boom in OEM manufacturing swept the island. A string of prestigious design prizes, senior positions at design groups and high-level teaching/academic posts all bear testimony to his abilities.

胡佑宗
成功大學工業設計系出身，擁有獨道的思維與創意，是一位敏銳的
時事觀察家。
柏林圍牆剛倒下後的幾年，他便前往柏林藝術學院（HDK）進修；當時的他，深受柏林當地的文化、歷史、思維薰陶，並在取得工業設計碩士學位後歸國返台。
獲得諸多設計獎項，曾於相關領域任教、發表學術，為設計業界的青年代表之一 ，資歷獨特的他，將在此帶領大家檢視OEM產業蓬勃後的台灣。
