Yeah I try to do most of the work myself, because labor cost is too expensive in the US. But for major engine and transmission work, I rely on a shop called Top Setup to help me. They are my sponsor too so their labor cost would be a lot cheaper and trustworthy.
You are correct that 比賽規定 is very restricted. We can not make any interal modifications. However, we can balance the engine and make everyting smoother. Exactly as you said "類似 鐘錶裡"日內瓦印記"的打磨過程 但不更改原廠零件"!
Racing is definitely 苦樂參半.
This is already my 3rd engine in 4 years. Unfortunately, engine is a 消耗品, just like tires and brakes. It gets expensive and sometimes frustrating.
