請問GP世界時區計時碼錶 和 Jaeger地理學家世界時區, 那一隻叫較實用, 給個建議吧! GP世界時區計時碼錶似乎可看晝夜, 但是Jaeger 地理學家不行, 是嗎?

Jaeger 地理學家也可以看晝夜,舊款的是旁邊有個小視窗,顯示白色是白天,黑色是黑夜,而新款是用AM與PM顯示;GP世界時間多了計時馬錶的功能.

JLC is more elegant while GP is more sporty. GP is also bigger. I got a pink gold JLC Master Geographic. It is the watch that made me falling in love with JLC, even though I still can't pronounce it 100% correctly.

Oh, yeah, PP 5110 !!! My next target.
However, there is a problem with all this kind of watches: daylight saving !! Not all regions use daylight saving. The watch owner needs to adjust it by himself. It is hard to remember sometimes. For example, the time difference between Taipei and San Francisco is 16 hours in the winter (GMT+8 for Taipei and GMT-8 for SF) but 15 hours in the summer (due to daylight saving in SF). So, if you set the watch per Taipei time, the SF time shown will be off 1 hour in the summer. If you forget to compensate the daylight saving, man, you may miss the stock market opening by an hour or call your flight attendant girlfriend an hour late! Bummer. 
That's the reason why I wear ROLEX GMT II for normal days and JLC Master Geographic for special occassions. I force myself to adust either the 24hr hand twice per year, instead of trying to remember the daylight saving everytime that I check the watch during April to Oct. |
