Since the topic here is about bracelet, I would like to say:
I. I found out there are at least 2 types of SS oyster bracelets for the SUB now a day. The more obvious difference is : a) an older type has 5 big links at 6 o'clock side; b) the newer type has 4 big and 1 small (maybe about half the size of the bigger ones) links. I prefer the newer type because of my small 6-1/2 inch wrist. It seems to seat the watch at a more center position on top of my wrist. II. When I got back my DD-President from Rolex Service Center here in Manila, (It was repaired at a fee, and was offered free of charge for cleaning and polishing the watch and bracelet); I found out that it was too loose for my wrist, so I request them to remove one link for me. My problem now is that it fits my wrist exactly, but I prefer a little loose, just in case the weather gets a little warmer. Can someone tell me what to do. Can I buy a half size link or ... ???? |
