A. Lange & Sohne, Glashtte Origional are both good high end Germany watches.

But be aware that these two brands are overpriced in Taiwan

Maybe it's a good idea to get them from overseas (if possible 非常高興

).

IWC is excellent for intermediary level (just personaly opinion).

其實我對德国表一無所知,只認識瑞士某幾款名牌,但有一次偶然在綱站上看到德国出產的手錶手工挺仔细,最重要的是價錢便宜,想加深認識一下,希望大家指教一下小弟!thx！

Some people think that German watches are better than Swiss. I think it's all depends on which brand you are comparing to. I do believe, on average, the German polish watches a little better. But then there are a lot more brands from Switzerland, so it's not fair to take an average.

It's all depending on your price range anyway, but here's my observation:

High end- Lange, GO (top notch, IMHO, very comparable to swiss counterparts, and probably better than most)

Mid-range- Martin Braun (being very innovative for the past few years, often win awards), Chronoswiss (I personally don't like the crown), Union Glashuette (made by GO, in-house movement, great watches, hard to find, hard to service).

Entry Level- Nomos (very very clean design, can be boring for some people), Muhles (I've seen some models, pretty rugged looking).

Independent Watch maker- Dirk Dornblueth (he makes great watches. Just ask Papageno in the other forum).

Other that I've heard of, but not familiar - Jacques Etoile, Sinn and Tutima.

wy02, good to see you here. I just want to let you know that IWC is actually Swiss, but in Schaffhausen, a German speaking region (as oppose to those companies in Jura, a French speaking region).
