-- I guess the double R stands "Rail Road"... Ball Watch is proud of being used by US railroad as standard timing instrument??
Many of its models has double-R on the end of the second hand

Hello,
I put these 3 watches under the fluorescent light about 5mins, but I found Ball's gas light does not affect by the light.
So, for the "Bright", I think Panerai will be the brightest one, because it's big pots and numbers in the dial plate,  .

我同時將三支錶放在日光燈下約5分鐘, 但發現Ball 的微型氣燈管不受照光影響.
所以以光度而言, 小沛應是最亮的, 因為小沛錶面上有很大的點(時的刻度)跟12/6/3/9 的數字.

The photos don't justify the brightness of Ball watches really.
Putting the other watches under fluorescent light would make them look very bright for about 30 seconds,
then you could clearly see the brightness start to fade...
whereas Ball's gas tubes continue to emit its green light continuously
it makes a practical difference because none of us (I assume) carries around a fluorescent light in our pocket...

ball以历史出发也以历史为为卖点！
ball在美国因为它的railroad watch精准而出名！
所以当初ball表的系列也以铁路出发
engineer
conductor
fireman
所以恶劣的环境还能那么精准和耐用就是ball表的精神！

我試了幾晚, 在半夜醒來, Ball 的微型氣燈管亮度遠高過panerai, 只不過在拍比較照片時, panerai 若不先照一下燈, 夜光還真拍不太出來咧

錶背刻有紀念萊特兄弟於1903年的首次飛行, 據說只有飛12秒 XD
錶扣上也刻有Ball 字樣 (錶帶是自行換上的膠帶, 22/22的, 原廠小牛皮帶有點硬, 也不太防水)
錶扣側面, 第一次看還以為是螺絲, 可以旋開的..XD
錶耳處 (ps, 代用膠帶還蠻配的, Y拍上買的, 不錯用)
錶背+膠帶背
重點來了, 跟小沛(pam222), Breitling Blackbird 擺一起, 小沛(44mm), Aviator(46mm), 黑鳥(43.8mm), 還是Aviator 大了一些
另一個角度, 小沛(pam222, 2005限量款) 還是最搶眼的..XD
這樣看得出錶殼厚度嗎? XD, 其實小沛跟黑鳥差不多厚, Aviator 最薄

比一下龍頭, 三個各有特色...(ㄟ...應是說三個都不一樣 :p )
夜光一 (你猜這支是誰?)

答案是(上:黑鳥, 中:小沛, 下:Aviator), 其實大家都很亮
