Hey man, rare to see friends from Toronto. I suggest you come back to Taiwan and buy it, watch stores in TO doesn't give as good of discounts as Taiwan does.

to bbqoion: u mean that I can order it directly from Longines USA? and then they will ship it to Canada? 14xx is really good deal tho.

我曾在多倫多住過幾年，最好不要在美國買東西寄到加拿大。除非你自己帶。不然會被打很多稅。這種有價的東西還是台北買比較便宜。

There are many good watch retailers in U.S Most of them are willing to ship to Canada. I only got charge 5% GST (I"m in Calgary so no PST ) + $10 duty and $50 Fedex international priority ( shipped from New York@ 7:00 pm and got my watch the next day around 10am)

well...just ask them to ship item to you separately. watch and box separately, and when passing through canadian custom, just say you ship the watch to usa for fix service, and the watch is not brand new.

I lived in Toronto for 16 years...if you must buy it over there...just check out any watch stores in malls...like Vaugh Mills or Yorkdale...you can ask them for a discount but I think the most they will do is take off the taxes...If you live in Richmond hill...there might be some Asian owned watch places you can check out...but do not expect good discount just by walking into the store, you gotta sort of "earn" it...after all, they have no incentive to sell it to you cheap....
