Hello guys,

I bought my Omegamatic with reference 2514.50.00 from Swiss in 1988 and I fell in love with it at once. It's 36mm fits my 6.5”wrist and the markings on the uni-directional rotating bezel always enables me to count the time precisely if I need especially during sitting examination when I was studying in the University. As mentioned in many other reviews, the bracelet always gives you comfortable feeling and is one of the best in the market. The caliber 1400 with 17 jewels inside never lets me down and the accuracy is in the top notch -- only gains 1 – 2 sec a month. The black dial with lumed skeleton hands always attracts others attention. I gave it to Omega Hong Kong for servicing about two years ago due to poor rewinding in winter at 14C and detachment of one of the lume marking at 8:00 position. (p.s the detachment was highly believed to be my negligence as I brought it to a steamed bathroom over 70C for more than 15 minutes and I could feel the vigorous vibration inside my Omegamatic) Omega helped me to re-dial it and oil all mechanical parts with free polishing of the case and bracelet. I got it back after one month at the expense of 2,450 Hong Kong Dollars (i.e. USD 314), it always tells good time after the servicing and is still my daily-worn watch since I bought it.
