But I do agree that Lange's perpetual is more well manufactured
than PP's 5059. Besides that, Lange's movement is more beautiful and interesting to look in. 5059 is somekind of boring comparing with Lange.
You definetely will find how precise Germany mechanical industry is if you see the watch inperson. You just can't deny that they are the best in the field of precise mechanical industry.

It's true that Lange has precision manufacture and better movement. Many Langematik owners want to wear their Lange down side up. But to me, beside the large date window, the Lange Perpetual dial design is too ordinary. When I saw Lange Perpetual, my impression is "NICE", when I saw 5059, my impression is "WOW!!!".

Swaylone, long time no see.
If you asked me, I'd vote for the Lange, because I've always thought it's one of the best looking perpetual calendar watches out in the market. However, I have to admit that I didn't consider the crowded dial as a disadvantage. I guess that's why there's a market for every watch. In my case, PP is too traditional to me. What do you guys think about Breguet Perpetual Calendar watches? |

Flyback,看你都變成進階會員,我還停留在初級會員哩.
PP的5050(及現在的5059)有雜誌曾說是世界最美的萬年曆,與傳統排列佈置的3940比較起來我也做如是想,直到 A.Lange & Sohne Langematik Perpetual出現.在我心中現在有了兩只最美的萬年曆.Breguet Perpetual Calendar因為佈置十分近似5050/5059,自然也是簡潔易讀.尤其蛇形日曆指針更是絕配.只是PP出現在先,小小心房只容一人,只好對Breguet說抱歉.同樣情形也發生在Parmigiani Perpetual Calendar身上.但若是沒有月象的萬年曆之后則非Breguet Perpetual Linear Calendar莫屬.只有五根針一個視窗,要論簡潔無人能比.(Ulysse Nardin perpetual Ludwig又是另外一種的"簡潔").我再推薦一款簡潔的萬年曆---Bucherer Archimedes Perpetual,有月象又不複雜,價格更平(ETA 2892 base movement) |
