This is my own experience. Just for your reference. I bought a Blancpain Moonphase 2763-1127A-53 (Steel one costs about $4,500 US, no display back)about two months ago and found out I lost average about 15 to 20 seconds per day. I sent it back to BP and they expedited the repair since it is a new watch- Still at Blancpain service center in New Jersey, USA. Seems to be that the lubricants get gummed-up as the watch sits on the dealer's shelves for too long. Don't get me started how frustrated I am to deal with it. I posted a message at TimeZone.com Blancpain Forum and found out some people have the same problem. As quoted by Josh who had the same problem and replied my message at Timezone.com, "Did I get an apology from BP? No. Did I get an offer to discount my cost for my trouble? No. Did they even offer a discount on future BP purchases? No. Am I still a little bitter at BP for the way this was handled? You bet I am. Even though I love my watch and think BP makes beautiful pieces, Am I going to hesitate before buying another BP? What do you think?"
