郭董不用心荒,雖然5004P難找,但有錢還不怕買不到東西,這錶其實也不用跟錶商攀關係談貢獻度了,在dealer間都有一個大致的行情在,多找一些大的dealer問, 他們手上應該都有機會有,而且不會開價離譜,我去年跟一個國外很大的dealer買兩支5004(一支黃一支純白),他純白金還可以讓我選顏色呢.我後來是選黑色,那時我好想兩支(一黑一白)一起買,後來怕自己太衝動而作罷,我PM去年我問過幾家的dealer手上有5004的給您作參考.

WOW..... You guys in Taiwan are really strong.... look at the following press release from Antiquorum:

Geneva - May 13, 2007. Just one month after its huge success of Omegamania, Antiquorum’s Spring auction achieved the excellent result of 18'392'786 CHF (15’090’913 US$ – 11'162'766 ?). 81 % of the 696 lots were sold, representing 150% in value. Strong international participation came from Asia, North America, Russia, Germany and Italy. Almost 100’000 people were tracking the auction on the web. Thanks to the Antiquorum online bidding system and Live Auctioneers 9% of the auction was sold to internet bidders worldwide.

The top lots of the sale were: the Patek Philippe “One of Only Two Known Ultra-Complicated Pocket Watches with Double Chronograph (lot 696) which fetched 928'900 CHF. It sold to an American collector after fierce bidding against a buyer from Taiwan . Followed by the “Platinum Ref. 5033P” (lot 657) that was acquired by an Italian buyer for 828’100 CHF. Another American collector acquired the “ Ref. 2499, Yellow Gold 3rd Series” (lot 690) for 794,500 CHF and the “Platinum 5016” (lot 671) 772’100 CHF went to Taiwan ....

I checked the "Amazon".......
The price in Amazon of PP 3940P is only USD 63,508 (Around NTD 2,100,00).
I guess it's a brand new one.
Why does everybody pursuit Antiquorum "high expense used watch", but forget to find a "new watch in reasonable price"?
I am confused the concept of some watch collectors.
