how long should be the run time period? also, is it okay to put the watch aside for more than 1 year? |
Think about...to ignore a machinery longer than 1 year~~
Will you still expect the good running after that? At least I won't

關於這點，在下認為在適當的保存條件下。讓表不走，即使是一百年都 沒有問題。但想要解除封印後要讓它再走，就需要重新洗油，並且更換 mainspring。表裏頭會分解、劣化的就是那些。 近代表有的防水圈是整隻表最脆弱的一環，不管您用不用它，時間到了就 會壞。但不流動，沒有雜質滲入的潤滑油，甚至十年內都不會有什麼問題 ，使用中造成的碰撞和即使只是運轉造成的零件磨損對表的傷害都更大。 但在下仍然想提醒一點，照顧一隻表不只是二分法地讓它走或不走的取捨 而已。讓它走走也有走保養方式、不走也有讓它安息的保養方式，唯一相 同的是，您都要付出代價的。 請不吝指正 |

手錶超過一年不戴應該不好,潤滑油會偏一邊集中
偶而讓它翻個身子再睡（我自己的無厘頭想法  ）_________________ good LUCK |

非常謝謝大家的寶貴經驗和意見
讓我受益良多 
其實我只是不清楚 如果手錶因為輪流佩帶走三天停兩天的 會不會對手錶本身不好 
卻得到許多意外的收穫 一下子認識了這麼多同好 非常開心 
以後還要多跟各位多多請益 謝謝大家

A watch is like a car,
don't let your car park in the garage without thinking of it for a long time! Whenever You have more then one watches on hand, You might be like the one more then others. But don't just let them down in the drawer... If you don't want to wear the watch for a while (few monthes, years...), I suggest you better do it before store in the drawer : 1. Wash, Clean up ! and dry it in a cool, dry place (Not under the SUN). . . . or it will smell bad in the future when you remember to get it ! 2. Cover it with dry, clean cloth or paper (To keep the watch dry and tidy). . . .and make a note on the cover, so you know when you store it. 3. Remember to "RUN UP" the watch( All Functions! ) once a while ( 1 ~ 3 monthes... ) . . .in order to keep it (and know it) under good conditions. That's the way I keep my watches are all ready to GO !
