A very nice chronograph!

One of the very best among 5070/5170 and Datograph.

IMHO, the best entry-level complication piece from Patek.

Particularly, i like its power reserve indicator.

5146 is my first Patek and i am still keeping it.

Back to your movement question, i believe most entry DR pieces use 3rd party (non-ETA) movements.

Chronoswiss uses ETA 7750 workhorse movements + in-house polishes. Zenith's el primero is pure in-h ...

IMHO, DR does a better job in their complication pieces. Its case design is quite unique in the market.

I like my Breguet type xxi the most.

As I love its RG casing and the big chrono minute hand is sexy and easy to read.

A very nice perpetual calendar. Pity that it uses the perpetual module from IWC.

Jaeger makes some very best watches. Just don't feel good that it takes the module from IWC.

Think it's nice to say happy new year to watch fans here with my perpetual calendar.

Unfortunately, I don't have any perpetual calendar Pam.

I love GP and own its world time chronograph.

Despite its so-so chronograph module and poor resale value, it goes well with my suit.

Always amazed by how serious ppl are about the accuracy of mechanical movements, particularly Rolex, as I think they're inherently inaccurate by modern standards.

Even if a watch can keep good time ...

Interesting... I would like having Patek, A Lange and Philip Dufour.

Richard Lange is really sexy......

I got my 5207 over a year now and it still works perfectly.

I was a little bit worried about the reliability of its retro-second mechanism but now I am completely confident about Breguet's quality.

I had an exactly the same experience with my AP.

On the contrary, it never happens on my non-top tier brand watches. It may be because of manual process vs. machine....!?

IWC's perpetual calendar module may have a less elaborate design than other fully adjustable modules, i.e. fewer parts and absence of all those pushers, etc.

My support - here is my 5032 with the new style buckle (I prefer the old one)

5032 is a very nice perpetual calendar on wrist (much cooler than in photos). Go for it and you won't regret. I just got mine before price increase again.

A few limited pieces may use vintage 3rd party movements.

It has an ETA 7750 movement (earlier version with 17 jewels) inside.

Some other Chronoswiss pieces may use Enicar auto movements.

Yo! Just got my 005 from HK BT. More scans to follow;)

The buckle is around HK$3k and another HK$2.4k for the strap.

I love the OP logo on the dial. I am waiting for 005 at the boutique as well.

I can't wait to have this classic pair in my box, both with burgundy straps of course !! ^_^

Another annoying fact is that Patek loves to play around with their dial/case material combination. Sometimes you can get the right dial color but not the case...

I saw the "GR" version and IMHO, the 2-tone version just doesn't look right to me. Still good but not stunning.
