i'm new here. i have been saving my money. I'm about to buy my FIRST rolex watch. which one should i buy?? There are look similar to me. which one should i get??
GMT-MASTER II vs SEA-DWELLER vs SUBMARINER
Is it price are about the same??? got date or without date???
anyone can help??

snoopy, i think that , submariner is most beautiful but gmt-master II has gmt function , sea-dweller not beautiful . It's only 1000m water resistant unless you always diving , therefore i suggest you to buy submariner ( with date model ) . This is my opinion only , last decision is depend on you .

Find out that GMT-Master for diving is 100metres / 330 feet abt USD 3530 Sea-Dweller 1220metres / 4000 feet abt USD 3870 w/date Submariner 300metres / 1000 feet abt USD 3685 w/date Submariner without date USD 2895 The sale girl ask me to buy sea-dweller becaise only USD 200 more. can dive deeper. but I think it is TOO HEAVY. and i think Submariner without date is very good price. But MY FRIEND laugh at me. He said Rolex but no date ........ now quite confusing what to get. actually USD 2895 is within my budget. For your guys only USD 200 different. which one will you guys get? Sea-dweller? or submariner?? no one support GMT??? cheaper with date. I do read chinese. you guys can reply by chinese. My office cannot type chinese. thanks alot. one more question for man ...... you mention that submariner is most beautiful to you? what do you think of GMT? if i pick the black one. i think GMT and Submariner look are same right? what do you think? thanks again |

The question you asked, has been discussed many times here. You could try to use the "搜尋" function at the top of the thread. or you may refer to this one first - 16710 & 16570 I personally wearing a 16710(GMT II), I love the function, and of course cheaper price(compare with other two models!!) Same advice been given by many Masters in the forum - BUY WHAT YOU FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE. BUY WHAT YOU LIKE!!! Hope you get what you want.. |

Submariner without date is 14060M, right?
之前有很多網友深入的討論過 14060M, 我也覺得這是簡潔錶面的首選, 無日期, 無放大鏡, 真是乾乾淨淨呀! (在下尤其討厭放大鏡) 雖然其機芯無cosc, 但是不代表不準! 你能省下Rolex送測cosc的錢呀....... 都是Rolex原廠機芯, 有無cosc, 並無太大影響, cosc 有時候只是一點點虛榮心作祟....

WoW a simple watch really got alot of study! my friend said so expensive watch without date really sound stupid. he suggest me better add up few hundred bucks to get the one with date wor! i understand 是簡潔錶面的首選 ... but alot people do not ... again ericni, GMT-Master and Sunmariner both also do not have cosc? what is cosc actually? thanks again |

cosc 其實應大寫 COSC
原文好像是 Contrôle officiel suisse des chronomètres 英文好像是 Swiss Official Chronometer Control 台灣習慣稱 "天文台錶" 詳細規定稍嫌煩雜, 我不列了....
簡單說, 一定期間內, 測下來, 每天之平均誤差能在 +5~-3 秒 之內 是有一點指標性意義, 不過不能代表一切, 影響準度之因素非常之多! 況且, 有 Chronometer 一定要多付點$的........ 先回答這樣, 最近比較忙, 若有時間我再回來討論!
