I agree with you.. I feel that they make a lot of unique time pieces, but the low end models are not as impressive. However, one thing I like about them is that the brand itself is quite unique. You can recognize it when you see one, b/c even the design of the low end sports watches are not so mainstream. I don't like that design myself, but I respect them for being creative. Too bad they use a lot of ETA ebauches (non-assembled though).
