You know, after reading about Boris, Frank and some others "traders", I want to start focusing on buying and selling 2nd hand watches. This is probably the best way to own those watches without breaking the bank. New watches are nice, but I like too many of them.

聽我學長說Lange的追針計時，最後推出市場販賣的版本將沒有Power Reserve，因為很多人反應Power Reserve破壞了整個面盤的協調與美感。而且表耳之間的距離會增大，配上更寬的錶帶。

 這是個明智的決定...呵呵
像我大學學長那樣頂級的玩家，也常常在買二手錶。
他之前買的Lange Datograph、AP陀飛輪計時、Rolex Daytona 116589也都是買二手的，而且新表一直在漲價，這些錶將來要脫手說不定還能賺。
他玩錶的境界，是我未來追求的目標...希望有一天，我也有能力可以買那些錶 
人的緣分很有趣，當我在台大唸書時，我還不大懂錶，也不知道我直屬學長他也熱愛手錶，記得當時他是帶PP海底探險家。後來畢業當兵退伍後開始玩錶， 常常去王永昌那逛 
有一次在那遇到多年沒有聯絡的學長，雙方都很驚訝，後來就常常聯絡、聊天、一起去逛錶店。
呵呵...還有一次在王永昌那遇到我爸的朋友去買PP萬年曆，我還要他不要告訴我爸我在玩錶。 
買賣交換二手錶，最有趣的地方是可以結交各行各業的朋友，分享他們玩錶的經驗。
不過要買二手錶還是要小心，最好是能當面交易，不要貪小便宜，賣方開價低於行情太多的，一定有問題。（我就交了很多學費）

Is it unavoidable to 交學費? For me, this is the scariest part. I don't have a 王永昌 around me (I've heard of one, but haven't been), so the Internet seems to be the most convenient place for me. However, what's a good way to determine if the seller or buyer is trustworthy?
Also, I have no idea how to judge a 2nd hand watch. It's easy to learn about new watches, but 2nd hand is a lot harder to learn (especially, I have no idea how to check the movement).

Flyback:王永昌 can send watches to USA. He has some customers
in America. You can try. If you are fond of one , you can tell me or
Frank first . We can examine it first. And then you decide whether
to buy it or not.
