I do love IWC...
I have tried to find it out, The IWC's Spirit, however, it no longer exists in IWC...
Not only this Chronograph; he is just one of the examples.

When the IWC in-house movement 89360 was newly released, I didn't have much knowledge about Chronograph. I couldn't state out clearly what are the necessary, and the important elements of a good Chronograph movement.
At that time, I just noticed that, Movement 89360,
it has column wheel,
it has flyback,
it has 68hrs power reserve,
it is special designed to re-locate the hands in order to increase the readability of time counting....
In addition, it is IWC!! High brand!! It is in-house!! From R&D to production, in-house!! It is 100K!! Expensive!!
For a Watch lover who doesn't know Chronograph deeply, the above informations, already make you believe it is a good Chronograph!!
Few weeks ago, I tried this movement again... Of course I am not a Chronograph expert, but... as I already own 11 Chronographs until now,I would like to say that,
this IWC in-house Chronograph movement, is a bad movement.
No ofference.... just my stupid opinion.
The reasons are as followed:
(1) it doesn't worth 100K, extremely low C/P ratio;
(2) the button-pressing feeling is bad, similar to ETA;
(3) its second counting hand has a "jump" at the beginning of time-counting. For modern mechaincal techique, it only appears in low grade movement;
(4) the center part of the chronograph, such as Column-wheel, cannot be seen;
(5) when I tried playing the chronograph, there exists the second counting hand cannot reset exactly to zero. I need to push the reset button one more time;
(6) movement decoration is not very high-grade.

If you like High Brand (not high grade) Chronograph with flyback function, I think Breguet TypeXX is a good choice if you dont mind pt(2), pt(3) and pt(6).
Higher brand, higher C/P ratio, stronger historical background... and most importantly, cheaper.
I agree with my Teacher, a Professional Watch Player that, Rolex Daytona is the best (or one of the best) Chronograph movement nowadays....
Why Rolex Daytona is so welcome in the market?
If you are a Chronograph expert, you are willing to buy Rolex Daytona;
If you are a watch beginner, you are willing to buy Rolex Daytona;
If you are a watch invester, you are willing to buy Rolex Daytona;
If you want a watch to show off only.... you must buy Rolex Daytona!!
Moreover, there are so many money-cheating Wathces in the market, thanks to our friends Mainland rich people.
For insurance, buy Rolex Daytona!!
Apart from Daytona, Seiko GS SpringDrive Chronograph is another high-tech Watch!!
But you should ask yourself whether you enjoy low-profile style.
Good brand, cheaper price, trendy forever? Let's consider Omega Moonwatch!!
I believe that, his design, will not be changed until the end of the world.

100K, US dollar....!? 
It must be 18K gold in case and bracelet, right??
There is one thing I would like to know if this chronograph movement keeps good time?
My Rolex Daytona 116528 keeps very good time and it just cost me about USD 18000. 100K....wow~~!!

100K = NTD100,000?? or USD 100,000??
For an IWC Chrono, I think that you were talking about NTD here, right?
