When I just got my Mido, I couldn't pull the crown out to the time-setting position in one go. I suspect it might be due to the Aquadura crown sealing system they use. Then I later learned to turn it anti-clockwise a bit before pulling to the date-setting position, from there I then pulled it out just as I turned it a little more anti-clockwise. I've got to admit it was frustrating. With so many people wearing Seikos, Citizens, and Swatches nowadays, it truly sets you apart to be wearing an understated timepiece from Mido. Mido watches use upgraded movement and high quality materials such as Sapphire crystal glass, genuine leather, anti-shock construction, and they even offer movement decorations and COSC watches.
