今天去書局看到有一本專門探討ROLEX的...封面打著ROLEX..
還有50週年那一隻淺航者作為封面...不知各位有沒有買...
弟一次看到有這種雜誌...之前都看到有探討LVㄉ雜誌...
沒想到勞力士也有出..

May I ask which Chinese watch publication (doesn't matter if it's from HK or Taiwan) is good? So far, I only read International wristwatch and Watchtime. I like IW better, but a bit too expensive.
I always wonder what chinese watch magazines are like. Since there are a lot of collectors in Asia, I'd assume it's pretty good. My coworker is going to HK tomorrow, and he said he'll try to get me some chinese watch magazines. Please let me know if there's anything that is worth while to pick up. Thanks |

Aside from International Wristwatch, which aims more on the mechnical theory of calibre, there are three more "watch-related" magazines in Taiwan. Dunno if they would fit your need. Among these three.. I could give you a little preview over two. If all you need is a beautiful catalog of watch collections. You could try "World Wrist Watch." It aims much on the visual performance of the watch. (or i should say layout) But, if your need fall more on the literary side. TimeSquare may fit your need. You could find very detailed historical facts over the brands adding a brush of simply mechanical analysis, which fits beginners. |
