From a different view.....Seiko is a big company with long history, GS/Galante/Credor are not their cash cow, therefore they can do things differently, without having to worry too much about profit. Creative Design for Galante and top notch craftmanship for GS, and selling them at a fair price. I doubt other Swiss companies can do this without worrying about revenue. Making watches with passion. This is the reason I keep coming back to Seiko, especially the Spring Drive models. The biggest Seiko purchase for me is the new Galante Chrono in Staintless Steel, msrp 290K, worth every pennies.
