Enamel and 琺瑯 are exactly alike.The point is about "glaze". Ceramic-alike,which point is about "paint"or"lacquer". I'm not so sure that all the antique pocket watches with 瓷錶面which dials are real ceramic,but there are certainly some. I have not yet seen enough old pocket watches.

Now the question is, which one is harder to produce? Enamel seems to be the thing now, right? But, I thought Seiko Brightz has it for around NT30,000. I can't tell the difference, but I just know the JD dial is beautiful.

我覺得台灣的 Swatch 代理沒有好好的做品牌經營 JD, Blancpain, Bregeut 都沒有好好經營 情願找一堆不知所云的藝人 不情願多花一些精力在教育客戶及找像 Panerai 那位 Tiffany 小姐 JD 在國外的評價很高的 |

Hi Kuotong,
Congratulation! I am shopping for an enamel dial watch and I know it is not easy at all to make the final decision. My budget is about 400K and the followings are now the candidates: 1. B 5140 2. B 3420 (Jumping hour) 3.P 5115 4.P 2526 4. A. Langematic Email My only concern on 5140 is its size. I feel it too big for a dress watch. However, 5115 is not equipped an automatic movement, despite its very elegant cream color. 3420/2526 and Langematic are rare and their selling price might be over my budget. Besides, 3420 has no second hand. I got a lot information from the dicussion you kicked off. Thanks! |

Refer to the complication of finishing,I personally think that enamel dial is superior to painted dial in craftsmanship.Oh,one exception. The Japanese style lacquer applied on Credors is named "高蒔繪",a superlative skill in art of lacquer.They said so. About Seiko Brightz,I wonder if there are different levels for the expression of enamel.It sounds likely when you said comparing Seiko with JD.

我還是認為 BREGUET 5140 最好 1 瓷面錶我覺得還是素雅最好 太多功能我認為會喪失了主題 ．瓷反而成副者（我有其他牌的ＪＵＭＰＩＮＧ ＨＯＵＲ 2 在選購錶時 PP 5115 就在旁邊 以知名度而言 我會選 PP 5115 但是就第一眼而言 我被5140電到了 ( MAY ＢＥ UNREASONABLE ) 可是一再反覆看 5115 實在無法勾起慾望 3 LANGE is too ｅｘｐｅｎｓｉｖｅ ａｎｄ 面盤的呈現方式我想與ＣＨＲＯＮＯＳＷＩＳＳ ＯＲＥＡ 相同 有些不活潑 少了雅和浪漫的美 以上拙見僅供參考（ｂｙ ｔｈｅ ｗａｙ ｔｈｅ ｓｉｚｅ ｉｓ ｐｅｒｆｅｃｔ ｆｏｒ me ) |
