補充gs430兄提供的資料來源,此文幾個重點:
IWC的assembling in Schaffhausen,
1.IWC買Valjoux機芯的零件,首先以眼睛檢查外觀,挑選後留下的再從中隨機挑選作細詳細的檢查.因此原先買來的零件很多還未使用就被汰除掉了.
2.以用於葡萄牙計時款為例,其機芯來自Valjoux 7760(手上鍊版的7750),將其全部的金屬軸承改為珠寶軸承.(7750沒此情形,因其原本就使用珠寶軸承了)
3.受過特別訓練的專家調校擒縱系統的游絲,降低其不對稱.畢竟調校游絲不容易
4.IWC的組裝與調校技術使錶具有優越準確性及提高機芯的壽命.
IWC使用ETA機芯的錶沒有COSC的證書,但其準確性不比通過COSC認證的錶遜色.
雖IWC計時錶款來自於ETA/Valjoux 7750,但IWC巧妙運用使其性能極致!!

Ist line price + second line brand + third line movements, It's really tricky, isn't it ? I am not a hit man for IWC, nor am I a pilgrim, I am just a true-teller! |

我覺得IWC是值得推薦的品牌,在它的歷史中誕生選多經典傳承至今的錶款,值得去探索研究,從中收藏你所興趣的錶.而且IWC在瑞士錶一直沒缺席過,就是沒倒過.
一些歷經四五十年以上的系列,看到它們依然存在,還有新一代錶的誕生,頗有世代更迭的意義,這是它的價值所在啊!樂於聽見錶友討論說:我覺得上一代的馬克較好看,我覺得以前的IWC比較MAN,有人可能會說我覺得馬克16出大錶徑很好看等等之類的討論. 此時錶也許不再是錶,在這時代成為代表物之一,具有其文化意義.從它窺見當時的人的喜好,推敲他們對事物的價值判斷.說起來批評的聲音也是當代的代表,現在對IWC的批評也代表某些人對它的想法,也就是IWC在現在給人的感覺,也許未來它繼續modify ETA7750或是發表更多自製機芯,將會有不同的批評,不同的褒貶.但重要的是它能一直存在,我們對它的討論就一直下去,甚至到下一代,到下下一代,繼續下去. 
我想在腕錶世界若只有少數幾個品牌,也沒有什麼趣味了,有各種品牌錶款迎合不同的需求,誰也無權去評論每個人喜好的對錯,這是一個願打,一個願挨的世界.也是情人眼中出西施的世界. 願諸錶友在這個腕錶世界找到您的西施錶.

no offence ... but i read this somewhere ... "In 1875, Jones nicely evaded the consequences of the first bankruptcy proceedings by leaving the country. The new director, Seeland, also an American, proposed a far-reaching financial restructuring plan. But recovery was only skin deep and in 1879 the business was once more faced with liquidation. 不論IWC做了多少的改裝，7750依然還是7750，不會有任何的改變(即使是大戰馬還是如此)。
不可否認，IWC是間有歷史、作工水平以上的錶廠，一些錶款或是機芯依然為錶迷津津樂道。 今天IWC在他的入門錶款使用的ETA機芯的作法，我不予置評，畢竟這是一間公司的行銷策略、市場定位的因素。 然而ETA機芯依然還是ETA機芯，不會因為你做了多少的功或是掛上某些錶廠的MARK後就不再是ETA的機芯了嗎? 我想答案是否定的，他還是ETA的機芯 我不是想抹滅IWC在ETA機芯上所做的努力，但是請不要把IWC的做法過度神化，但也不是把IWC批判的體無完膚。 今天IWC可以把單純7750計時碼表改道有陀飛輪、問年曆、追針等大複雜功能，說他沒有能力推出自製計時機芯，我想沒有人相信吧! 其實他最為人詬病的就是他的產品定位(價)的問題；不論是ETA based或是自製機芯的錶，價格遠高出大家的預期 不是嗎 _________________ 每個人都擁有卻也抓不住 只有時間 時間不會為了誰而停留 |

i like iwc watches for their watchmakers' craftmanship and seriousness ... i have friends with watches' markers and hands fallen off (including a rolex), but i have never heard of these ridiculous things happended to iwc watches ....
all masterpiece sculptures are made of marbles, but not all marbles in different artists' hands can become masterpieces ... i do respect and admire people who would pay $50000 for a GRAND SEIKO, though i would never do so .... still i was in awe when i once looked into the movement of a GRAND SEIKO.... so don't tell me SEIKO are the same as GRAND SEIKO ... as we all know they are not the SAME!!! so are other watches with eta 7750 and iwc watches with the same movement!! ps. i just bought a 1970s heuer with eta 7750 (new old stock)  .... i wont say iwc must be better than others .... but they are just not the same ... so some people will only buy SEIKO ... whereas others will pay 20-30 times for a GRAND SEIKO .. .
ps. these are just some stupid ideas of me .... please take no offence...
