I have seen some post in watchbus forums. Some people do not agree that high price will give better accuracy and quality.
For example, one brother said PP has a worse accuracy than Rolex, is it true? How can it happen?
If this theory is true, will you choose Rolex or PP??? (if both are affordable to you)
So, if we aim at accuracy, is the only choice the COSC certified watches?
Also, is COSC the highest accuracy standard on the earth?

Also, I have checked that many famous brands do not give accuracy data on their websites. We cannot have an idea before puchasing.

光就這個部分, 個人認為C.O.S.C認證的標準可以在嚴格一些~ 因許多未通過此認證的機心一樣走的好, 走的準, 甚至日誤差遠低於認證標準... 這真是一個奇怪的現象...
其實每一顆機心的可能產生的誤差都不太相同, dbssimon兄若有留意, 其實BUS上面可發現有些文章討論的是同一支錶款 但體現的卻是兩種截然不同的精確度~ |

天文台認證是要付費的, 有些錶廠認為多付這些錢沒有意義
然而對於普羅大眾, COSC是通過第三者(官方  )認證 總覺得多了一份保障/價值
在一些強調"工藝"的錶廠 大多數是沒有COSC的 如  P, AP, VC......
反而在一些"實用"的錶廠 多以COSC為號召 如: Rolex, Breitling, Omega..... _________________ 每個人都擁有卻也抓不住 只有時間 時間不會為了誰而停留 |

So for those PP, AP etc, can the watches meet the requirement of COSC although they do not have the certificate????? |
