個人使用的經驗上DLC比PVD耐磨很多。

Cannot tell. You need to know where did they make the case and where they did the plating. If case make in China (yes, most cases make in China, but not a Chinese owned factory, they all owned by HK people, but produce in China), most probably plated in China. And, in China, there are only 4-5 reliable plating factory doing this. Only 3 of them have both Black PVD (we called IPBlack) and DLC. In IPBlack, cannot be too thick, otherwise it will crack/peels off, for those famous Swiss brands, they all plated 1μm thick. For DLC, some famous Swiss brand plated in Swiss, that will be very good quality. Those DLC plated in China, only have 1μm thick, the DLC (sp2) content is about 20-30%, they cannot make it more as it will crack due to too much internal stress. DLC is better than IPBlack as it is harder, higher wear resistance, more "solid" black color. If you have a black color watch, take a closer look at the bottom hidden area, you may found some rainbow, brownish, or greenish color as it contain Nitrogen in various ratio that given a uneven TiCN content. |
