hey bros what do you think about the "old" Panerai owner's new product... actually thet r not that new....
my opinion... they r ugly:( ... sorry if you find my comment is ofensive.. but seriously i dunno how to describe i other than that.... in terms of movement or teachque.... i dunno la... can any bros tell more abt this "new brand from old owner of panerai"

Anomino is a new brand of Italian watch. The owner used to be one of the designers of Panerai, so the product of this brand are in some way very much alike those of Panerai. The work and quality of their product is at average level, the calibers they use are all ETA or ETA based movements. Their retail prices are, I think, reasonable. Some of their series do have their own styles and I like them very much. Well, this brand has a lot of big watches, some of them are, I have to say, huge. I believe they are very suitable for those who like to have a Panerai-like big watch but do not want to spend so much money on it. After all, most of the calibers that Panerai use are ETA as well.

here you go... http://www.anonimo.com/ but no, i disagree as hyjtsang said its ugly... not quite, i have to say, its fugly... _________________ oke, after sizing IWC5004, PAM233, and ROLEX1165XX, i found 46mm > 44mm > 40 mm, therefore IWC > PANERAI > ROLEX

All the dials design are a little bit "strange".
From esthetics point of view, they are not impressive. Just a personal opinion. |

According to some info I picked online Anonimo is infact started by a group of people who associated with Panerai which refused to relocate from Florence, Italy after Richmont group takeover. So some say these group of people are the original Panerai designers which continue to "modernized" Panerai as opposed to Panerai under Richmont who decide to continue to chew on its historical background.
I have spotted a Militare Last Edition Model 2004 at an AD showcase limited to 300 pieces and the crown and locking device is at 6 o'clock very special and unique design sells at half the price of my 164. http://www.anonimo.com/models/militare.html |

it's a special and unique design alright; however, i don't feel it's a very logical design... basically it's a watch that should've been turned 90 degree counter-clockwise... |
